BLOGZILLA!! (Clara's birthday and Mother's Day in New Spr-England)

Mommy and Daddy wrestling with monkeys an wot not.

Daddy off to write.

Mommy eating. Wee's has manners here!

When Clara took her sweet time getting on her bike, Roses walked right past her and climbed aboard.

Uh oh...Rosilla about to blow up. In order to keep our rating down to at least PG, we will skip the picture following this one and go on to subjects not involving cajoling, corner-time and bribery, such as...

"Clara loves Mommy." Always a crowd pleaser.

CLARA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!

That's Matt. Both Clara and Roses have claimed Matt as their boyfriend. (Little does he know, he was the bribe for the bike. You can bet Daddy's keeping a close eye on this joker).

Clara's friend Catie gave her this wonderful homemade card. Catie is quite an artist.

There's Clara and her new friend Jackson (who lives behind us) and Jack, a poet from the MFA program who brought Clara flowers. (Daddy's keeping an eye on him too).

This is Clara and Jackson and Jackson's Daddy, Will.

Clara, Jackson, Jack, Rachel and Will. Rachel is also a writer in the MFA program who Clara took an instant liking to.

This is infamous Larysa - infamous for bringing the GIANT balloon that became such a wicked hit with the kids that Pizza Hut was transformed into a playing field for a new sport called "Helium Rugby." Larysa is our babysitter. You gotta know that the girls love having her around!

Tada! Introducing another Rachel!

Tada! Introducing Catie! (the now famous artist who made the wonderful card for Clara)

Just before Daddy played magician...and made the balloon disappear.

Cake, meet Clara. Clara, eat cake.

Roses and her Larysa. The kids adore her so much that they play with her even when she's not there!

"Peet-a-booo!"

"Peet-a-zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........."

Running off the sugar at Mill River Park after the party

And a quick stop for smoothies at The River Shark Cafe (our new favorite place to eat). As you can see, our plan was working.

Daddy happy. Party went well. Clara all smiles. Daddy proud of his BIG little girl. "I love you, Clara."

Roses contemplating her navel......really.

Roses getting HUGE! Our girls are amazing.

Daddy thinking, "Our girls are amazing."

OUR BEAUTIFUL GIRLS

Best friends.

This one is for you "Dram-ma." It's THE LIP!

Roses got into Mommy's makeup. Little monkey!

SPRUNG HAS SPRING!

This is everywhere! Even on our worst days, all we have to do is go outside and we are reminded of the infinite possibilities that exist around us. Springtime is tangible. We can see it, and feel it. There is nothing so powerful as a breath of fresh air, a bed of bright flowers, a cool breeze and shower of petals from a crabapple tree, our girls laughing together in the back yard...springtime. True, a cliche, and yet.......

"Here. Der's lot of dem."

Sure is. Wow!

PLAYTIME
Henry helps Roses ride Ezra's bike. Henry is very sweet. (Daddy's keeping an eye on him too).

Roses philosophizing.

Clara is Springtime.

MOMMY'S WONDERFUL DAY!
FROM CHRIS: Clara and Roses have a wonderful Momm, and boy do they know it. And I know it. We are so lucky to have her. She gets up at 4am to go to work and make the money to feed us. She comes home and takes care of us, even when she needs rest. We never want for affection, hugs and kisses abound. She teaches kindness and and equanimity, and does it naturally. She is our hero. We love you. Happy Mother's Day

We were out driving and happened upon a little Stonehenge. It is a sun dial behind UMass. We had to stop!

This beautiful pic was left extra big for anyone (Papa-Grandma) who might want to make it into their wallpaper.

Beautiful. Just beautiful.

CLARA'S FIRST RIDE ON HER FIRST BIKE.
